The Chicago Blackhawks would probably like a do over on Friday. Or perhaps they would just like to put tonight’s 4-1 loss to Detroit squarely in the past.
Chicago was heavily outshot tonight, but its main problem was giving up juicy turnovers on inopportune passes. Kris Versteeg looked particularly bad early in the first period, but he wasn’t the only guilty party tonight.
The Red Wings got goals from four different players tonight in Luke Glendening, Johan Franzen, Tomas Tatar, and Brendan Smith. Glendening also had an assist, making this his first career multi-point game.
Since Oct. 25, Detroit has only lost one game in regulation and now has a 8-3-5 record in 2014-15.
Toews: "Every single guy in here needs to take responsibility and be accountable. Obviously that starts with myself." Kane said same thing.
