According to Helene Elliott of the L.A. Times, Anaheim Ducks Corey Perry and Francois Beauchemin have been vaccinated for mumps.

Perry, who is currently on injured reserve, has been cleared to re-join the Ducks while Beauchemin is in hospital being treated.

The rest of the team is expected to get mumps-measles-rubella shots.

According to the Center for Disease Control, mumps typically starts with a few days of fever, headache, muscle aches, tiredness, and loss of appetite, and is followed by swelling of salivary glands. Anyone who is not immune from either previous mumps infection or from vaccination can get mumps.

Perry, who led the league with 11 goals in 13 games, has been out of the Ducks lineup since Nov. 2 missing four games, while Beauchemin has missed two games.
