Tampa Bay has announced that forward Tyler Johnson is day-to-day with an upper-body injury after taking this crosscheck from Chicago’s Brent Seabrook on Tuesday night:

Johnson, who leads the Bolts with 18 points this year, left the game following the incident and didn’t return. Seabrook was given a minor penalty but could be subjected to further punishment -- at last year’s Winter Classic, Toronto forward Joffrey Lupul was fined $10,000 for this crosscheck on Detroit’s Patrick Eaves:

Seabrook does have history as a repeat offender, having been suspended three games last postseason for charging St. Louis captain David Backes.
