Lightning forward Tyler Johnson took a cross-check to the midsection from Blackhawks’ defenseman Brent Seabrook early in the third period and did not return to the game.
Seabrook was assessed a minor penalty for cross-checking on the play.
Johnson, 24, entered Tuesday’s action as the Lightning’s top point producer with five goals and 18 points through 15 games.
