Schneider to start 15th straight

The New Jersey Devils will play their 15th game of the season tonight and, like the previous 14 outings, Cory Schneider will get the start in goal.

Schneider, a Massachusetts native playing in Boston this evening, has carried a remarkable workload this season and sits second among all NHL netminders in shots faced and time on ice. While impressive, the big minutes may be affecting Schneider in a negative way — he’s struggled recently, getting pulled in each of his last two contests, and has just a .906 save percentage and 2.91 GAA on the year.

For the Bruins, Tuukka Rask is likely to get the start.
