Two days after Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry each missed Wednesday’s game with flu-like symptoms, only one of the Ducks’ dynamic duo, Getzlaf, is well enough to play tonight at home versus the Coyotes.

Perry, the NHL’s leading goalscorer (11), remains out, Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau confirmed today.

The Ducks (10-3-1) lost Wednesday’s game, 3-2, to the Islanders in a shootout, after which defenseman Cam Fowler wasn’t willing to use the absences of Perry and Getzlaf as an excuse.

“We expect too much in here to be satisfied in our home building with this result with the group that we have,” Fowler said.

“Those are two leaders that are very vocal in our room, so they’re always missed. But we have other guys who need to step up.”
