L.A. forward and reigning Conn Smythe winner Justin Williams will be held out of Thursday’s game against the Islanders due to an eye injury suffered last night against Dallas, per the O.C. Register:

Here’s the incident in question, which happened during the third period of Tuesday’s win over Dallas. Williams was caught by a high-stick from Stars defenseman Brenden Dillon, who received a double-minor on the play:

Williams has gotten off to a slow start this year, scoring just one goal and three points in 13 games.
