Last night, after the Red Wings-Senators game in Ottawa, it was reported on Twitter that a stretcher and paramedics had been called to the Detroit dressing room.
Obviously, this caused some concern among those who had read the report. And while it was reported shortly thereafter that the stretcher had left the room without anyone on it, it’s still not exactly clear what happened.
Per the Detroit News, the Red Wings aren’t sharing specifics.
“It was extremely, extremely precautionary,” said GM Ken Holland. “Everyone is healthy, everyone is available to play.”
Holland refused to comment further.
The Red Wings are in New York to play the Rangers tonight (on NBCSN).
