Colorado Avalanche defenseman Nick Holden caught Canucks forward Zack Kassian with a knee-on-knee hit just inside the Avalanche blue line during the second period tonight.
Kassian needed help off the ice and left the game briefly, but did return. Holden received a minor penalty for tripping.
Its’ the second time in three games Kassian has recieved a questionable hit. On Saturday night in Edmonton, Oilers defenseman Andrew Ference hit Kassian with a check to the head. Ference was suspended three games for the hit.
Update:Kassian says hit caught him in charley horse not the knee and he’s all good. #Canucks
