Video: Every Blues player acts as goalie in wild sequence

Blues defense

Vladimir Tarasenko is rightly getting a lot of the credit for the Blues’ 4-3 shootout victory over the New York Rangers tonight, but goaltender Brian Elliott did his part too, stopping 36 of 39 shots prior to the shootout.

Both of their efforts might have been in vain though if not for the Blues’ defensively work early in the third period. The New York Rangers had chance after chance and Elliott alone wasn’t able to stop all of them. Fortunately for him, his teammates crashed the crease to block multiple shots.
