Dallas Stars standout Jamie Benn landed a pretty brutal-looking slash on Wild winger Jason Zucker during Saturday’s 4-1 Minnesota win:
Ouch.
Benn received a two-minute slashing penalty on the play. As you can see from the video above, Zucker left the ice following that incident, yet he did return to the game.
There’s no word on whether or not the league might look at the slash. Benn, 25, hasn’t been suspended before. Apparently this isn’t the first time Benn’s landed a slash on a Wild player, either:
