Burrows has never been suspended in his career, though Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos believes Burrows could be hearing from Senior Vice President of Player Safety, Stephane Quintal.
Text book suspension hit by Burrows on Emelin. Late, head is avoidable, doesn’t hit body before he hits his head. Can someone tell me diff?

Burrows has been fined twice by the league.
In the spring of 2009, Burrows received a $2,500 fine from the league for punching then Oilers enforcer Zach Stortini from the bench.
During the 2009-10 season Burrows was fined $2,500 for criticizing referee Stephane Auger.
