The Tampa Bay Lightning sent rookie forward Cedric Paquette to AHL Syracuse on Friday, leading to speculation that Ryan Callahan -- who hasn’t played since Oct. 20 with a lower-body injury -- would make his return tomorrow night against Washington.
Callahan, who had five points in his first six games this season, has missed the last five contests, during which the Lightning have gone 4-1-0 while scoring 17 goals. He returned to practice on Tuesday and told the Tampa Bay Times he’s “good to go” for tomorrow’s clash with the Caps.
