The Calgary Flames placed blueliner Corey Potter on waivers Monday, per TVA sports.
Potter, 30, signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Flames in mid-September but has been sidelined for all of this season due to summer shoulder surgery.
The former Ranger, Penguin, Oiler and Bruin has appeared in 123 career NHL contests and recently began skating with Calgary’s AHL affiliate in Adirondack as part of his rehab.
