Philadelphia Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo suffered an upper-body injury against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday night, and was unlikely to return, the club announced after the second intermission.
Rinaldo’s last shift came at the end of the first period.
He saw just over five minutes of ice time in this game between the two bitter rivals. He was also given credit for three hits.
In six games so far this season, he has yet to record a goal or a point.
