Some shuffling in the Chicago net on Tuesday, as head coach Joel Quenneville announced Corey Crawford was day-to-day with an upper-body injury, meaning Antti Raanta will get his first action of the season tonight against Philly.
Scott Darling, called up from the Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate in Rockford, will serve as Raanta’s backup.
It’s unclear exactly what happened to Crawford or how he sustained the injury. He was scheduled to start against the Flyers and practiced on Monday, but didn’t take to the ice at all on Tuesday.Asked if Crawford’s injury may linger into a longer-term deal, Q said he doesn’t think so. #Blackhawks

Crawford has been very good to start the year, going 3-0-1 with a 1.66 GAA and .926 save percentage.
In other lineup news, Kris Versteeg will make his season debut tonight after missing the first four games of the season with a lower-body injury.
