The Anaheim Ducks are expected to recall goaltender John Gibson from the Norfolk Admirals on Monday.
Gibson was sent to the American Hockey League club last week to start a pair of games over the weekend.
The 21-year-old went 1-1-0 in his two starts against the Manchester Monarchs posting a 3.05 GAA and a .902 save percentage.
On Friday Gibson made 32 saves in a 3-2 Admirals win. However, he allowed four goals on 27 shots Saturday in a 4-2 loss to the Monarchs.
With Gibson returning, Jason Labarbera will likely be assigned to the AHL.
