The Toronto Maple Leafs could be without the services of winger Brandon Kozun for nearly six weeks according to a report.
Kozun, who surprised many cracking the Maple Leafs opening night roster, was injured in Friday night’s loss against the Detroit Red Wings.
The 24-year-old went awkwardly into the boards following a hit from Wings’ defenseman Kyle Quincey.
Kozun had an assist in five games prior to the injury.
He has been placed on injured reserve and a player call-up is expected from the Leafs on Monday.
