Bodie, 24, is in the final year of a two-year $4.25 million contract, which would make him a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
The Flames fourth-round pick (114th overall) from 2008 is off to an excellent start this season with three goals and four assists through seven games - he had four goals all of last season.
On Sunday, Brodie extended his point streak to six games with a goal in the Flames 4-1 win over Winnipeg.
