Even the Boston Bruins coaches are tough.
Bruins’ assistant coach Doug Houda took a puck to the top of the head while on the bench during the second period of Wednesday’s rivalry game against the Detroit Red Wings. After going down the tunnel with a towel on his head and getting worked on by a member of the training staff, Houda returned to the bench. He had several stitches, too.
Hey, this is hockey, right?
Coach Houda just took a puck to the top of his head on the bench. Gets assistance heading down the tunnel, but smiling the whole way... ^CS

Doug Houda back on the bench. Because he's a hockey coach #BruinsTalk
