Video: Avs’ Johnson gets ejected for hit on Wild’s Haula

Colorado Avalanche defenseman Erik Johnson received a game misconduct and five-minute major penalty for a hit on Minneosta Wild forward Erik Haula on Saturday.

The Wild weren’t able to cash in with a power-play goal on the five-minute major. Johnson, 26, received a two-game suspension back in March.

Many will note that Patrick Roy made these comments regarding getting back at Matt Cooke for his hit on Tyson Barrie to the Denver Post on Thursday.

“One day, it might be the opposite,” Roy said. “One of our players will hurt one of their guys. And I’m sure everybody is going to be very happy to remind (Minnesota) what happened to Tyson Barrie.”

Early on, it seems like Haula was able to shake off the hit. It looks like Haula’s OK:
