Goalie nods: Mason goes back-to-back for Flyers, Tokarski in for Habs

Mason practiced for only 15 minutes because of an upper-body injury and there’s a chance the Flyers will start their playoff series against the Rangers without their No. 1 goalie. News and notes from around the blue paint...

Flyers go back to Mase

Steve Mason will make his second consecutive start to begin the season when the Flyers host the Devils at Wells Fargo. Mason was one of the bright spots for Philly in its 2-1 loss to Boston last night, stopping 31 of 33 shots to finish with a .939 save percentage, but was on the wrong end of a bad bounce on Chris Kelly’s game-winner:

For the Devils, Cory Schneider will be in goal.
