From Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

Mueller, the eighth overall pick in the 2006 draft, was an interesting story heading into training camp. The 26-year-old hasn’t played in the NHL since 2013. He spent last season in Switzerland, before signing a a one-year, two-way contract with the Blues.

Per CapGeek, Mueller’s contract pays him $700,000 in the NHL and $250,000 in the AHL.

Prosser, a 24-year-old defenseman who’s played 126 NHL games with the Wild, has an identical contract to Mueller’s.

Today’s moves would seem to be good news for St. Louis hopefuls Robby Fabbri, a forward, and Petteri Lindbohm, a d-man.
