Teuvo Teravainen skated today and feels “good,” but he won’t play tomorrow for the Blackhawks in Detroit.

Teravainen confirmed he got “a little bumped up” during Saturday’s scrimmage on a hit from Cam Barker. The 20-year-old forward doesn’t, however, seem too worried about the injury hurting his chances of making the NHL club.

After the Detroit game, the ‘Hawks return home to host the Rangers Friday at the United Center, before traveling to Saskatoon to take on the Oilers Sunday.

Chicago finishes its preseason schedule with games versus the Canadiens (next Wednesday) and Rangers (next Friday).
