From Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune:
#TBLightning announce Jonathan Drouin out 3-4 weeks with fracture in his right thumb

Three weeks from today, the Lightning will already be onto their fourth game of the regular season. If it takes a full four weeks, he’d miss at least the first seven games.
That’s tough luck for the 19-year-old forward and third overall pick in the 2013 draft, who many were predicting would win the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s rookie of the year in 2014-15.
Yesterday, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper would only say that Drouin’s injury “shouldn’t be a long-term lingering thing,” a description that fits a fractured thumb.
Drouin on how injury occurred: "It wasn't a big hit or anything. I was off balance and just fell on my hand." Said injury happened Thursday.
