The Anaheim Ducks have announced that forward Antoine Laganiere has agreed to a one-year contract extension. They didn’t release the financial terms, but it’s a two-way deal that will pay him $550,000 annually at the NHL level, according to TVA Sports’ Renaud Lavoie.

Laganiere, 24, was highly sought after last year after completing his four-year stint with Yale University. He helped lead the team to its first NCAA championship and finished the 2012-13 campaign with 15 goals and 29 points in 37 NCAA games.

He was limited to 10 goals and 18 points in 72 games in his rookie campaign with the AHL Norfolk Admirals though.

Anaheim still has to re-sign restricted free agents Andre Petersson, Sami Vatanen, Jakob Silfverberg, and Devante Smith-Pelly.
