Franson, Leafs to open arbitration hearings

On Wednesday, the NHLPA released the dates for the 20 player- and three club-elected salary arbitration hearings that’ll take place over a two-week span in late July and early August.

Here’s the tea-by-team list; things will kick off on July 21st between Toronto and RFA defenseman Cody Franson:

One of this year’s arbitration hearings -- Mattias Ekholm’s, with Nashville -- was wiped out after he inked a two-year, $2.075M deal today.
