New York Rangers v Philadelphia Flyers - Game Four

PHILADELPHIA, PA - APRIL 25: Sean Couturier #14 of the Philadelphia Flyers argues a second period penalty call in the game against the New York Rangers in Game Four of the First Round of the 2014 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at the Wells Fargo Center on April 25, 2014 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. “Sean Couturier had successful abdominal surgery this past Friday. He has started rehab at our training facility and should be fully recovered in 5-6 weeks.” -- Flyers general manager Ron Hextall, in a statement

Couturier played all 82 games for Philadelphia this season, plus all seven playoff games. The 21-year-old had 13 goals and 26 assists for a career-high 39 points during the regular season.

A promising two-way forward, only defenseman Braydon Coburn logged more shorthanded ice time than Couturier for the Flyers (a team that spent a lot of time shorthanded.)
