The Pittsburgh Penguins have agreed to terms with forward Tom Kostopoulos on a one-year contract extension with its minor-league affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, the club announced on Thursday.

Kostopoulos, 35, led the Pens’ AHL club in goals (22) and points (47) last year, and is WBS’s all-time leader in games played (406), goals (122), assists (178) and points (300).

A veteran of over 600 NHL games, Kostopoulos last played in the league during the lockout-shortened ’13 campaign, appearing in 15 games for New Jersey.
