PHT Extra: Can Crawford build on second half of Game 5?

“I thought he really settled down. After the fourth one there, I thought he did everything we were looking for. Really showed composure. I liked the way he battled through it. I think after that fourth one there, we needed him to be great and solid. He delivered.”

That was Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville, talking about his goalie, Corey Crawford, who got the win Wednesday in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final, despite allowing four goals to the Kings, the fourth time he’s allowed at least that many goals in the series.

Game 6 goes tonight in Los Angeles, and we’re thinking it may come down to which goalie, Crawford or Jonathan Quick, gives the strongest performance. To this point in the series, neither has played particularly well.
