Update: J.T. Miller actually managed to return during the third period. Perhaps he’ll be limited, but he’s fighting through it for now.

It’s easy to say “Go to the net” when discussing a team trying to score playoff goals, but it’s easier - and far less painfully - said than done.

The Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers have really been aggressive around the net and injuries (or near-injuries) seem to be piling up. The most notable one came when Chris Kreider collided with Carey Price, yet the Rangers might be on the short end of the exchange this time. J.T. Miller hasn’t returned to action since Andrei Markov pushed him into Montreal’s net in the second period:

There’s always the chance that Miller could return to action in the third period, but for now he looks sidelined.

Markov was whistled for two minor penalties in the middle frame.
