Video: Justin Williams does it again, opens scoring for Kings in Game 7

It seems all Justin Williams does in Game 7s is score, or contribute on the score sheet.

The veteran 32-year-old forward opened the scoring for the L.A. Kings less than five minutes into the first period in Friday’s Game 7 against the Anaheim Ducks. He scooped a loose puck on a scramble in behind 20-year-old goalie John Gibson.

It certainly seems like he enjoys these decisive games. He’s been in a few of them over the course of his career. In five Game 7s during his playoff career, he’s scored five goals and 10 points, and has yet to lose in this type of situation.

Jeff Carter gave the Kings a 2-0 lead just four minutes and 18 seconds later, as he deked to the backhand and beat Gibson on a breakaway chance.
