In a way, the Minnesota Wild should have seen Patrick Kane’s overtime-winner (and series-clincher) coming.

After all, the Chicago Blackhawks star forward seems to score big goals in his sleep ... and often does it in the blink of an eye when you least expect it. Although, again, doesn’t that mean we should expect it by now?

Kane seem flabbergasted enough himself, though he’s certainly not complaining.

Kane did it to Michael Leighton to win the Blackhawks’ first Stanley Cup in ages and keeps adding to his list of victims, yet you can’t really blame people for remaining shocked by each instance. No doubt, the Wild were stunned after that 2-1 OT loss in Game 6.

Even so, if someone asked the Wild who would pull off such an unthinkable goal, Kane would be high on that list ... wouldn’t he?
