during Game Four of the Second Round in the 2014 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at Madison Square Garden on May 7, 2014 in New York City.

It’s pretty difficult to argue that any other game in this New York Rangers - Pittsburgh Penguins can compare to the pure energy of Game 6. Simply put, it seems like there hasn’t been a dull moment.

Of course, when the pace ramps up and the emotions increase, mistakes and wild sequences can happen. The second period featured quite the remarkable set of events as Penguins forward Marcel Goc celebrated a near-goal and then Chris Kreider drew a Rangers penalty with a much-criticized goalie interference penalty.

Really, though, this exchange between Derek Stepan and an official in the first shift on Sunday’s Game 6 might have really set the tone of oddness and absurdity:

If the first two periods are any indication, this could be one of the most exciting games of the second round.
