Video: Clifford, Desjardins drop ’em as Sharks-Kings heats up fast

Bad blood’s been boiling between L.A. and San Jose throughout the first five games of their series, so no surprise hostilities were renewed early in Game 6 when Andrew Desjardins and Kyle Clifford squared off:

The tilt came less than a minute after Justin Williams gave the Kings a 1-0 lead, further shifting momentum L.A.’s way. After dropping the first three games of the series, the Kings have stormed back and won two in a row, outscoring the Sharks 10-3 over the last seven periods of hockey.

In case you’re curious, this is just the sixth registered/acknowledged scrap of this postseason — as per the good folks over at HockeyFights.com — but the third of this Kings-Sharks series, joining Robyn Regehr vs. Brent Burns and Williams vs. Justin Braun.
