By now, we’re all pretty familiar with T.J. Oshie’s flair for dramatic, stylish goals — so it goes without saying that No. 74 would need to do something pretty special to wow us again.
Midway through the second period of Friday’s Game 5 against Chicago, the Blues forward did exactly that:
It was Oshie’s first of the playoffs, snapping a goalless drought that went all the way back to Mar. 27 of the regular season. He had a chance to score his second of the game in the third period, but was absolutely robbed by ‘Hawks goalie Corey Crawford:
