Video: Tyutin avoids penalty during Sutter’s breakaway


When things are fast and furious, an NHL official’s job gets that much tougher. Plenty of observers were split on a play during the second period of Game 1 between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Pittsburgh Penguins, as there was no call during a sequence in which Fedor Tyutin defended Brandon Sutter.

Plenty of people believe that Tyutin deserved an obstruction penalty or that Sutter should have received a penalty shot opportunity following that exchange.
