It’s a battle of two powers in the Western Conference, as the Colorado Avalanche visit the San Jose Sharks tonight on NBCSN.
The Avalanche, under first-year head coach Patrick Roy, can clinch the Central Division with a win over the Sharks and the St. Louis Blues lose in regulation to the Dallas Stars. The Avs could also take over top spot from the Anaheim Ducks in the Western Conference.
