The banged-up Pittsburgh Penguins have lost the services of trade deadline pickup Marcel Goc for the next three weeks, the club announced on Friday.
Goc, acquired from Florida at the deadline, was injured on this play in last night’s 3-2 loss to Los Angeles:
Goc had no goals and two assists in 12 games with Pittsburgh this season, averaging just under 14 minutes per game. He was expected to see a rise in playing time and responsibility down the stretch, however, after Evgeni Malkin was lost for the remainder of the regular season.
