Eventful night for Oilers’ Perron in return to St. Louis

David Perron, playing his first game back in St. Louis since getting traded to the Edmonton Oilers last summer, scored a goal and was under the skin of his old teammates throughout Thursday’s game.

Perron opened the scoring, but the Blues eventually overpowered the Oilers in the third period, scoring four times in the final 20 minutes to take a 6-2 victory.

Perron was also involved in a few post-whistle scrums, including with Alexander Steen, as well as Vladimir Sobotka. The latter came after Perron had gotten a stick up on T.J. Oshie in the third period.
