Video: Updating the ice conditions at Yankee Stadium

Here’s the NHL’s Mike Craig with an update on the ice conditions for tomorrow’s outdoor game between the Rangers and Islanders at Yankee Stadium:

If you can’t watch, Craig thinks everything is in “really good shape.”

No word what Craig’s crew thought of Martin Brodeur’s “worst ice I ever played hockey on” comments following Sunday’s game, but they’ve certainly got their work cut out for them, with temperatures expected to drop to around 19 degrees for puck drop. (Yes, there’s such a thing as “too cold” to make good ice.)
