Corey Perry will have his name entered in the history books.

The Anaheim Ducks forward opened the scoring in the first period of Saturday’s game against the L.A. Kings at Dodger Stadium, becoming the first ever NHL player to score in the historic landmark.

Not necessarily a thing of beauty, as Perry buried the puck into a wide open net after it got through Jonathan Quick and was lying precariously in the crease during a scramble in front. It counts as Perry’s 28th goal of the season.
