Duck Hunt: Anaheim seeking seventh straight win tonight

The red-hot Anaheim Ducks are looking to match their longest win streak of the season Friday night when they take on the Devils at Prudential.

The Ducks, winners in each of their last six games, will aim for a seventh straight win for the second time this season -- back in early October, the club ripped off seven wins in a row (which included a perfect 5-0 homestand).

If this latest streak has shown anything, though, it’s Anaheim’s ability to perform well on the road.

The Ducks have won games in Chicago, St. Louis and Detroit during the streak and have three more away games before they return to Anaheim -- tonight in New Jersey, Saturday on Long Island and Monday in Washington.

Anaheim will have captain Ryan Getzlaf available for tonight’s affair. Getzlaf was questionable after being shaken up on a Kyle Quincey hit in the Detroit game Tuesday, but has been cleared to play.

Couple other Ducks notes to pass your way...

Appears to be a couple of Ducks changes against New Jersey. Jackman and Fistric in, Beleskey and Vatanen out.

Jonas Hiller getting fifth straight start for Ducks. It’ll also be eighth in nine games and 12th in 14.
