Couple of Islanders notes ahead of tonight’s game in Glendale, where they’ll look to make it two straight victories for the first time since Nov. 2.
--- Goalie Evgeni Nabokov has been activated off injured reserve and Anders Nilsson has been sent back to AHL Bridgeport. Nabokov will back up Kevin Poulin (who was outstanding versus the Sharks on Tuesday) against the Coyotes.
--- Forward Ryan Strome will not, in fact, make his NHL debut tonight after being called up yesterday.
Capuano on Ryan Strome "Just want to get him acclimated in our meetings (before he plays). I'm sure you can see him pretty soon." #Isles
