The Buffalo Sabres have added veteran hockey man Kevin Prendergast to their scouting staff.
“Kevin is a very respected and well-connected talent evaluator in many different hockey circles,” Sabres president of hockey operations Pat LaFontaine said in a release. “His keen eye for hockey talent, combined with his experience in the game at a multitude of levels, will be a tremendous addition to our hockey operations staff and we are proud to welcome him to the Buffalo Sabres organization.”
Prendergast has worked with Hockey Canada, the Edmonton Oilers, and NHL Central Scouting during his 30-year career as a player evaluator.
The rebuilding Sabres will have a very important draft this summer, so the fact LaFontaine is adding to his scouting staff shouldn’t come as a surprise.
