Jaromir Jagr joined elite company Thursday night.
The 41-year-old New Jersey Devils forward scored in overtime to help lift his team over the L.A. Kings by a final score of 2-1, joining Gordie Howe for the all-time NHL lead in career game-winning goals with a whopping 121, according to the league’s public relations department.
Jagr’s goal - his ninth of the season - was the 690th of his distinguished career, tying him for ninth all-time in the NHL with his former Pittsburgh Penguins teammate Mario Lemieux, again according to the NHL public relations department.
