Video: Flames’ Berra makes a spectacular kick save

Yes, it was an acrobatic play. It also kept the puck out of the net.

Calgary Flames goalie Reto Berra stopped what looked to be a sure goal, when he slid across the crease and kicked up the right pad to stop Jack Johnson on a Columbus Blue Jackets power play.

Of course, words on a computer screen don’t do it justice. Berra couldn’t stop them all, however. The Blue Jackets won the game 2-1 in overtime.
