The Carolina Hurricanes have placed forwards Radek Dvorak and Jeff Skinner on injured reserve.

Dvorak’s placement is retroactive to Oct. 25, when he was hurt (lower body) against Colorado, and Skinner’s to Oct. 24, when he was hurt (upper body) against Minnesota.

Skinner reportedly won’t play Friday versus Tampa Bay or Saturday at the Rangers.

Earlier today, the ‘Canes announced they’d signed veteran forward Manny Malhotra to a one-year contract.
