Flyers defenseman Andrej Meszaros will be back in the lineup Tuesday versus Anaheim after sitting five games as a healthy scratch.
Meszaros will replace Erik Gustafsson, whose play Saturday apparently drew the ire of head coach Craig Berube.
A pending unrestricted free agent with a cap hit of $4 million, Meszaros has been an expensive scratch. Not surprisingly, the 28-year-old has been the subject of trade speculation.
“I waited for my chance and now it’s here and I’m really happy about it,” Meszaros said, per Philly.com.
