A room divided: Leafs split over celebratory Miley Cyrus song

In what’s clearly the most important news of the day, a dressing room beef is threatening to interrupt Toronto’s white-hot start to the season.

According to TSN’s Mark Masters, the Leafs have been using Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” as their go-to victory tune. (This is a big part of any room, like it was in Philly during the Mac Miller “Knock Knock” craze of ’11.)

The Leafs are 6-1-0 to start the year, and Tyler Bozak is being credited for providing the Miley.

But, according to Masters, not all of his Toronto teammates are on board.

Lupul on Leafs using ‘We Can’t Stop’ as victory song: “Certainly not my choice. Whatever. As long as we keep winning I’ll deal with it.”

Carl Gunnarsson on Miley’s ‘We Can’t Stop’ as Leafs victory anthem: ‘I don’t like it (laugh). We got to change it.’

Kessel on who’s to blame for Miley Cyrus invasion of Leafs room: ‘Probably it’s my buddy’s fault, but you can ask him about it’

The real story here might not be Miley but rather Bozak, who previously stated Taylor Swift is his favorite singer and once dressed up like Michael Jackson for Halloween. It’s entirely possible Bozak will walk away from hockey one day and become a pop singer, possibly under the name T-Boz.
